I know exactly how the light moves through my space at every hour, so we never lose time guessing. Every backdrop, sheet, chaise and prop lives here permanently. The client closet is on site, so if something in your own wardrobe does not work, there are options waiting. And nobody has to check in at a front desk carrying a suitcase of lingerie, which is a small dignity that women appreciate more than they expect to.

Privacy, in practical terms

The studio is a private space, not a shared one. During your session the door is locked and there is no foot traffic through the room. The only people present are me and my hair and makeup artist, who is also a woman, and she leaves once you are camera ready if you prefer.

Getting here and parking

Footscray is one of the easiest inner-west suburbs to reach. If you are driving, there is free street parking nearby, and I send you exact parking directions with your booking confirmation so you are not circling the block feeling flustered before your session.

If you would rather not drive, Footscray Station is a short walk away and sits on multiple lines from the city and the western line. Coming from Werribee, Point Cook, Williamstown, Yarraville, Sunshine, Altona or Melton, you can be here without ever driving into the CBD or paying city parking rates.

What the space feels like

Warm, quiet and unhurried. There is a hair and makeup station with a proper Hollywood mirror, a bed set, textured backdrops, moody side-lit corners and softer natural light areas. Between outfit changes there is somewhere comfortable to sit with a hot drink.

Most women tell me the same thing about walking in: it feels less like a photography studio and more like a private room where someone has been expecting you.

Everything happens in one place, in one day

Hair and makeup, styling, your full session and choosing your images all happen here on the same day. You arrive with clean hair and a bare face, and you leave having seen your photographs.
