I spent years caring for women in their most vulnerable moments. Then one day, I picked up a camera and photographed a woman turning forty in a borrowed spare room — and watched her cry happy tears at her own reflection. That was the day My Story by Michelle was born. Hundreds of women later, the work hasn’t changed: I help women come home to themselves.

The first step is to book your phone call.
During your phone consultation we work with you to reveal your vision for what you want from your session. We will book the date for your shoot. Then you will start receiving email reminders which help you to prepare for your experience.
You had butterflies of anticipation since you set the date. But you made it! Participating is the easy part. After no time Michelle has you relaxing and feeling comfortable. Then we go about unleashing your goal to captured reality.

Everything about this booking was smooth and easy, Michelle’s emails were descriptive and really prepared me with everything I should bring and do for the session. Before I arrived, I was nervous and a little excited, but eased into a really calm space once I met Michelle and Miranda. Miranda explained the products she used, and was very patient with me, especially with the eyelashes. Michelle made me feel so comfortable and I really enjoyed the session, it was fun! There were so many sets, and the studio was really versatile with multiple backgrounds, and furnishings, it felt like more space than it was. In the review session, looking at the photos, I saw myself the way my husband does, as a beautiful woman, and I can hardly wait for our album to arrive. Thank you so much Michelle and Miranda.

Miranda, with her artistic hands, made my look perfect with her make up skills. Her work really complimented my Asian features. FAQs
Michelle has an intimate home studio located in Footscray. With multiple sets and lighting to fit the mood and moment you want. Hair and make-up is done on site.
If you have this concern, you need the boudoir session more than others to show you a different perspective 🙂 My Story boudoir is about celebrating your individual beauty free from conformity and judgement. We want to celebrate you and your body. Being a model takes attention to detail. They are living a life that reflects their job to look that way with training, exercise and diet. Being a model or having a specific body it’s not necessary for working with me. The only thing you need to bring to your shoot is a sense of engagement, self-love and ready for a great time. Your job is to turn up and our team will take care of the rest.
I am going to tell you absolutely EVERYTHING. From the angle of your face, your head all the way down to your feet. I am going to help you place your hands, and I will also do most of the poses for you first just so you know what it looks like, and so that you can see what I am asking you to do. Just turn up, I will take care of all the posing concerns.
Once you have booked I send out a bunch of emails about what to wear, what to bring. I include links of places that you can shop, and how to shop for your body type. There’s also a small client wardrobe collection of approx. 200 pieces of lingerie (between size S to XXXXL) for booked boudoir clients to use. I provide and require hygiene stickers / pads used in between each use.
Its ok to be nervous it means it’s important to you! You will have a great time and when you see how stunning you are like many people you may be moved to tears of joy.
My boudoir Story are passionate about the life-changing potential this experience offers. We have a number of different ways you can pay what is important that every person discovers their true beauty.
You decide who will see your photos. Without your written permission, your photos will NEVER be shared. All my team from social media manager, retoucher, and hair and make up artists are all females. We respect and protect our clients’ privacy.
